HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), visited the Water Control Centre at Al Ruwaiyah Building Management Complex. Accompanying His Excellency on the tour were Abdullah Obaidallah, Executive Vice President of Water & Civil, Dr Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources and Mohammed Al Shamsi, Vice President of Civil Projects Engineering & Home Connections Maintenance.

World Green Economy Summit to discuss AI’s role in supporting the sustainability of vital sectors
Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the 11th World Green Economy Summit (WGES) will take place on 1-2 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The summit is being organised by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) under the theme ‘Innovating for Impact: Accelerating the Future of the Green Economy’.

Over 50 DEWA women embrace adventure and team spirit at Ski Dubai event
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Women's Committee recently organised the ‘Ski Hiking Challenge’ in an atmosphere filled with energy and camaraderie. More than 50 female employees took part in the event, navigating the trails and slopes of Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates. The initiative is part of the committee’s efforts to promote team spirit and positive competition among DEWA’s female staff.
