DEWA invites Arab Media Summit participants to learn about its sustainability and innovation efforts
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has invited media professionals and participants attending the Arab Media Summit (AMS) 2026 to learn about its pioneering initiatives and projects in sustainability, clean energy, innovation and digital transformation, as well as its role in leveraging corporate communications and artificial intelligence (AI) to raise community awareness and support sustainable development. DEWA is participating in the summit as its Strategic Sustainability Partner. Organised by the Dubai Press Club, the summit will take place from 15 to 17 September 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award accepts entries until 30 September 2026
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award continues to attract strong interest from innovators, researchers and institutions worldwide as it enters the final phase of its fifth cycle. Overseen by the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia UAE) under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and with a total prize value of USD 1 million, the award promotes the development of sustainable solutions that help tackle water scarcity and improve access to safe water, particularly in communities most affected by water shortages.
