DEWA provides free entry to 20th WETEX and 3rd Solar Show

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has invited the public to visit the 20th Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) and the 3rd Dubai Solar Show to review the latest innovative technologies, products, and solutions in the water, traditional and renewable energy, environment, green development and related sectors. DEWA organises the two exhibitions under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA, from 23-25 October 2018. WETEX has become the largest exhibition of its kind in the region and one of the largest specialised exhibitions in the world. It is an annual event for companies and organisations from the energy, water, environment, oil, gas, green development and related sectors from the region and the world to showcase their solutions and products while also discussing the latest technologies and innovations. WETEX 2018, under the theme 'At the forefront of sustainability,’ covers an area of 78,413 square metres with the participation of 2,100 exhibitors from 53 countries.

In addition to the latest technologies and innovative solutions from all over the world, WETEX and Dubai Solar Show provide visitors the opportunity to benefit from a busy agenda of seminars, meetings, workshops and specialised activities that host international experts to discuss the development and expansion of solar energy in the region to achieve sustainable development. The two exhibitions also provide a platform for companies and organisations working in these sectors to promote their products and services, meet with officials and investors from around the world to make deals, stablish partnerships, learn about the latest technologies in these vital sectors, identify market needs and the most prominent current and future projects in the region, especially with the significant expansion in the transition to use clean and renewable energy in the UAE and the region.
