The main objective of the programme is to provide financial support to the participating employees whenever they have urgent or financial needs that fall under the approved entitlement.

"Teslam" is peer-to-peer recognition programme aimed at enhancing employee happiness and satisfaction through mutual appreciation among colleagues. The programme serves as an ideal platform for expressing gratitude within the team and reflects the core values upheld by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, which include stakeholder happiness, innovation sustainability and excellence.

The initiative aims to provide essential support to Employees of Determination or employees who have Children of Determination, in the following fields: education support & needs, and essential equipment. That helps them fit in and succeed at work and in society, improving their happiness and quality of life.

Dubai Electricity Water and Authority offers a special discounts programme for its employees. This aims to increase their happiness by providing life necessities at discounted prices. Employees can easily browse the exclusive offers from shops, restaurants, hotels, travel agencies, and others using the smart app.

Tejori Al Saadaa is a system based on immediate recognition, presented by managers to their subordinates, as part of efforts to enhance happiness among employees and increase their level of satisfaction. This system aims to foster a positive work environment by promptly rewarding employees for their exceptional performance.

An annual outdoor gathering, which is planned and organised on request by various departments and divisions. Such events create a positive work environment and promote solidarity and togetherness among staff.

Estisharati is a programme that aimed to provide DEWA’s employees with emotional well-being support by providing an active problem-solving approach for tackling the problems in hand to live a happy, stress-free and fulfilling life through the following services:

The DEWA Sports Committee exists to promote participation in sports. It supports sporting excellence and enhances the happiness and well-being of DEWA employees. The Sports Committee organises internal inter-divisional sports tournaments and promotes and manages employees representing DEWA at external competitions.

The Happiness Lounge in DEWA is designed to stimulate and enhance a brain-storming process, to create positive energy and a happy work environment for employees.
