DEWA was the first government organisation to launch a dedicated virtual assistant, Rammas, to serve its customers and respond to their inquiries in Arabic and English around the clock.
DEWA subsequently enhanced Rammas with ChatGPT technology, becoming the world’s first utility and first government organisation in the UAE to use generative AI to interact with customers and answer their inquiries.
Designed to simulate interaction with a live customer service agent, Rammas supports different categories of DEWA customers while continuously learning from interactions to better understand their needs. In addition, Rammas provides key transactional and procedural services such as EasyPay and multi-account bill payments through credit cards, the Noqodi platform and other approved channels, further enhancing customer convenience.
