DEWA took the top position globally in 12 key performance indicators in its areas of work, according to a study conducted by specialised international consultants. DEWA's record of prestigious awards reflects its relentless efforts to achieve the top rank in all fields. DEWA recorded major global achievements in 2024 including:

  • The lowest customer minutes lost (CML), at 0.94 minutes per year, compared to an average of 15 minutes in the European Union
  • The world’s lowest electricity transmission and distribution network losses at 2%, well below the global average of 6% to 7%
  • The world’s lowest water transmission and distribution losses at 4.5%
  • An improvement in fuel heat utilisation of production units to about 90%, which is one of the best levels globally
