HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, today inaugurated the sixth edition of the AccessAbilities Expo, of which he is Patron. The AccessAbilities Expo is taking place from 7 to 9 October 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with the participation of about 300 international exhibitors, brands and rehabilitation centres for People of Determination.
“As a strategic partner, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is showcasing, through its stand, its inclusive and innovation services and achievements that support the empowerment of People of Determination. DEWA is also highlighting its success in utilising the latest global technologies and best practices to ensure that People of Determination have easy access to opportunities, experiences and services available on an equal basis with others, qualifying them to live independently, and enhancing their quality of life. This supports the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and ensures their active participation in the development and prosperity journey,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
DEWA’s stand, number 7,050 in Hall 7, also features several success stories involving DEWA’s Employees of Determination.

Ash’ir, the live video chat service that uses sign language, a digital sign language interpreter powered by AI, Smart Eyeglasses and DEWA’s smart app, which is compatible with various smartphones, devices and other services.
