Al Tayer emphasised Dubai’s strategic focus on expanding clean energy projects, leveraging Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and digitalisation, and maintaining world-leading infrastructure with the highest levels of reliability, efficiency and availability. He also highlighted DEWA’s commitment to accelerating investments in disruptive technologies.
During the meeting, Al Tayer outlined DEWA’s vision and ambitious strategies, which align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030, the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050, which aims to achieve 100% clean energy production, establish Dubai as a global sustainability hub and support global efforts to achieve sustainable development and address environmental challenges.
