Emirati women have a constructive and effective presence that supports climate ambitions and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050, accelerating the energy transition. Our female employees have proven their competitiveness and sense of responsibility in various aspects of national work. “We currently have 1,938 female employees working in all our divisions. This includes 836 female employees in the engineering and technical sector, and many female employees in leadership positions. Around 1,147 female employees occupy supervisory positions at DEWA. Emirati female employees constitute 84.57% of the total female workforce. We support DEWA Women’s Committee’s to ensure the female Emirati employees’ ongoing success and vital role in maintaining DEWA’s position as one of the best utilities in the world,” added Al Tayer.
