This theme key focus is ensuring DEWA continues to capitalize on agility & governance models, we aim to support the transformative journey of DEWA and its strategic direction by capitalizing on our well-established good governance practices and further develop our corporate resilience framework. Almost all DEWA leading governance & compliance Key performance indicators are planned and measured under the scope of this theme.
In the fast-moving energy and water sector, our ability to innovate is critical for preparing DEWA and Dubai for the future. This theme of our strategy will keep us focused on finding enduring and more appropriate solutions to the current and future challenges facing and involves disrupting and creating a sustainable future by implementing the 3Ds of Digitization, Diversification of the energy mix and Demand Side Management to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
Underlying our entire strategy are our people and capabilities - these are the foundations upon which we implement our strategy. This theme main focus is ensuring DEWA attracts the right talents and build capabilities to keep ahead of the curve in the sector including critical technical and managerial jobs (sustainability, renewable energy, smart city, digitization, space specialists, new business development, asset management etc.), develop competency enhancement programs, utilizing the right infrastructure and creating a happy right work environment foster creativity and innovation to fulfill employees’ happiness while ensuring developing national calibers and preserve national identity and heritage.
