ITA – Italian Trade Agency Powers Strategic Italian Presence at WETEX 2025

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) proudly celebrates 12 consecutive years of participation in the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), reinforcing its long-term commitment to driving Italian innovation in the energy, water and sustainability sectors. As Italy’s official government body for international trade promotion, ITA plays a pivotal role in connecting Italian excellence with global markets. At WETEX 2025, which will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, ITA will lead a robust Italian pavilion featuring 50 exhibitors across 600 square metres, including a dynamic presence of start-ups and emerging innovators. This continued engagement demonstrates ITA’s mission to support Italian businesses in forging meaningful regional partnerships and advancing the UAE’s sustainable development goals.

Non-oil bilateral trade between the two countries reached $14.1 billion in 2024, a 21% increase compared to 2023. Both countries collaborate closely on energy, sustainability, artificial intelligence, space exploration and international development.
