Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has enabled contractors to submit soil investigation no-objection certificate (NOC) applications through the Roads and Transport Authority’s digital platform. This initiative enhances Dubai’s advanced digital infrastructure and ensures seamless integration across government systems. The instant auto-approval for soil investigation NOCs has accelerated certificate issuance by 81%.

By the end of June 2025, DEWA achieved a digital service adoption of 99.5%. DEWA’s instant auto-approval service, powered by advanced SAP technologies and Geographic Information Systems software, has streamlined the process for soil investigation NOC approvals. Since its launch, the service has received 466 applications, with 379 granted immediate approval – representing a 81% auto-approval rate. This milestone reflects DEWA’s commitment to leveraging smart technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
