The World’s Largest Tile Mosaic- Hatta Falls

The ‘Zayed and Rashid Mural’, which has been recognised as the world’s largest tile mosaic (image). The mosaic, which was inaugurated by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in December 2024, recreates a historical photograph of the Founding Fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, may their souls rest in peace, dating back to the foundation of the UAE.

Longest Continuous Concentrated Solar Power Plant Operation

The longest continuous concentrated solar power plant operation at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The concentrated solar power (CSP) project, part of the solar park’s 950-megawatt (MW) fourth phase, achieved 39 days of uninterrupted service to bring the number of records it has set to four, underscoring Dubai’s global leadership in renewable and clean energy.

The concentrated solar power (CSP) project within the fourth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, being developed by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has achieved a new Guinness World Record for the highest capacity single-operator concentrated solar power plant at 700 megawatts (MW).

The World’s Largest Solar-Powered Data Centre

The Green Data Centre of Data Hub Integrated Solutions (Moro Hub), a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), has been awarded the Future Fit Seal. This prestigious recognition is granted to federal and local government entities that design and implement exceptional projects and models, strengthening the UAE's preparedness for the future. The center operates entirely on solar energy, with a green electricity capacity of 6.3 megawatts in the first phase, reducing the carbon footprint by more than 17,000 tons (17 million kilograms) of carbon emissions (CO2 equivalent).

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has achieved new record in the the largest thermal energy storage plant at 5,907 megawatt hours using Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) based on parabolic basin complex with Molten Salt technology.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has marked another breakthrough by achieving the Guinness World Records title for the second time for owning and managing the Largest Single-Site Water Desalination Facility in the World with production capacity of 490 million Imperial Gallons of water per Day.

First 3D-Printed Laboratory

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has marked breakthrough by achieving the Guinness World Records title for the first 3D-printed laboratory in the world. The record was awarded for DEWA’s Robotics & Drone laboratory, housed within the Research & Development (R&D) Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.

Largest Single-Site Natural Gas Power Generation Facility

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA’s) Jebel Ali Power Generation & Water Production Complex has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the largest single-site natural gas power generation facility in the world. The Complex has an electricity generation capacity of 9,547 MW, adding to DEWA’s record of global achievements.
