  • Agile Governance Global Summit

Good corporate governance practices for state-owned enterprises enable better decisions to ensure greater agility and sustainability amongst government organizations. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has taken on numerous strides to systematize its corporate governance practices and embed the values of trust, responsibility, fairness, and accountability in the organization’s corporate culture. With the severe implications of the COVID-19 pandemic to governments and societies, the purpose of this webinar is to facilitate a discussion amongst practitioners and governance advocates on the emerging challenges and trends for corporate governance of state-owned institutions especially with the public’s increasing expectations for organizations to be more responsive to its stakeholders and the imperative of building greater agility and resilience to respond to very dynamic internal and external environments. With the participation of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Institute of Internal Audit (IIA), Siemens, GE and other practitioners, the Summit aims to reflect on lessons learned for organizations from the pandemic response.
