More than 50 young employees at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) took part in a Knowledge Challenge initiative aimed at strengthening critical skills such as decision-making and creative thinking under pressure. Organised by DEWA’s Youth Council, the initiative was designed to enhance participants’ professional capabilities by building expertise in key areas, including effective communication, problem-solving, leadership and decision making, while also fostering team spirit and a culture of collaboration.

The challenge featured an interactive Quiz Room experience, where teams worked together to solve a series of challenges under time pressure, fostering teamwork and creative thinking.

“We support DEWA’s efforts to empower, qualify and improve the efficiency of young people in the work environment. By developing their future-ready skills, we enhance their ability to compete, lead, excel and effectively contribute to shaping a sustainable future as the next generation of leaders,” said Aysha Mohammad Alremeithi, President of DEWA’s Youth Council.

Interest in initiatives organised by DEWA’s Youth Council continues to grow, reflecting young employees’ strong commitment to innovation, continuous learning and performance excellence. This rising engagement underscores their determination to make the most of the opportunities provided by DEWA, equipping them to address current and future challenges with confidence and readiness.
