DEWA’s R&D Centre’s achievements promote outstanding solutions to address energy and water challenges

The Research and Development (R&D) Centre of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has filed 42 patents, with 10 already registered and work under way to register the remainder. The patents address various aspects of DEWA’s sustainability efforts, as well as its operations, including concentrated solar power (CSP), electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage, robotics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), 3D printing, energy and water efficiency, and data analysis.

The centre hosts some of the best calibre of Emiratis, including 28 PhD and master’s degree holders," said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
