Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC reports a record AED 14.6 billion in revenue for the first half of 2025 and approves dividend payment of AED 3.1 billion
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC (ISIN: AED001801011) (Symbol: DEWA), the Emirate of Dubai’s exclusive electricity and water services provider, which is listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), today reported its first half 2025 consolidated financial results, recording first half revenue of AED 14.6 billion, EBITDA of AED 7.0 billion, operating profit of AED 3.7 billion, net profit of AED 2.9 billion and cash from operations of AED 9.2 billion.

DEWA’s R&D Centre secures CE product certification for OmniHub IoT terminal
The Research and Development (R&D) Centre of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced that its OmniHub IoT terminal has received the CE product certification for health, safety and environmental compliance. OmniHub successfully passed all testing requirements in a single development cycle covering concept, delivery and maintenance, exceeding industry benchmarks. The R&D Centre highlighted the terminal’s advanced features, particularly its connectivity with the DEWASAT-1 nanosatellite, paving the way for field deployment.

DEWA’s AI-powered Afkari platform delivers strong employee engagement in improving efficiency
Afkari, a Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) internal innovation platform, received 3,424 employee ideas during the first half of 2025, an increase of 24.8% from the same period last year, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, has said. Participation increased by 7% year on year during the same period to 2,056 employees, with 1,064 ideas contributing to cost savings and 206 currently under implementation. Since its inception in 2015, Afkari has amassed over 70,850 ideas.
