DEWA’s Damj initiative supports empowerment of People of Determination in the workplace and wider community
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has reinforced its commitment to empowering People of Determination in the workplace and wider community through its Damj (Arabic for inclusion) initiative, with employee happiness among People of Determination reaching 98.02% in 2025, according to the Dubai Government Excellence Programme. Damj provides targeted support to employees, including those caring for children who are People of Determination, by addressing their educational needs, offering specialised resources and ensuring access to equipment that enables full participation and productivity.

DEWA’s OWNEK platform streamlines project approvals, boosting business efficiency for consultants and contractors
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has facilitated 2,381 preliminary technical discussions prior to project application submissions in 2025 through its OWNEK platform, alongside 36,795 online technical discussions during the submission and approval phase.
