The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award, supervised by the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia), under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, continues to reinforce Dubai’s position as a global platform for water innovation and humanitarian work. The award attracts outstanding innovations in water production, desalination and purification powered by renewable energy, contributing to international efforts to tackle water scarcity.

Suqia UAE embodies Emirati values of sustainable humanitarian giving
The impact of initiatives launched by the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia UAE) continues to expand year after year, providing clean and safe water to millions of underprivileged people worldwide and helping ensure a dignified life for disadvantaged communities. Since its launch in 2015, the sustainable water projects implemented by Suqia UAE have benefited approximately 15 million people in 37 countries.
