DEWA earns ‘Best Innovation’ recognition at UK’s Best Business Awards 2025
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), received the 2025 ‘Best Innovation’ award, which DEWA won at the UK’s Best Business Awards. The award was presented to DEWA's Power and Water Planning Division in recognition of their outstanding efforts in developing “Shaheen” digital programme, which has achieved significant success in maintaining the distribution power quality in line with DEWA standards and boosted customer satisfaction with Shams Dubai initiative.

DEWA’s Future Engineer summer camp marks 10 years of empowering young minds for a sustainable future
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) concluded its 16th Future Engineer summer camp, held from 4 August to 15 August, with 30 pupils aged 10 to 12 taking part – all children of DEWA employees. Since its inception a decade ago, the camp has welcomed 494 participants, many of whom have pursued careers in engineering, reflecting the programme’s lasting influence. This achievement reflects DEWA’s commitment to preparing young minds for a future shaped by modern sciences and technology, and ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to Dubai’s sustainable development.

Over 260 Chinese companies set to participate at WETEX 2025
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced that more than 260 Chinese exhibitors will participate in the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) in a dedicated pavilion spanning over 2,800 square metres. Organised by DEWA, the 27th edition of WETEX will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 30 September to 2 October 2025.
