Green Mobility Hall to highlight the future of sustainable transport at WETEX 2026
Under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 20 to 22 October 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

World Green Economy Summit 2026 attracts 15 local and international sponsors to accelerate the transition to a green economy
Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) will organise the 12th edition of the World Green Economy Summit (WGES) on 21 and 22 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s theme, ‘From Success to Scale: Showcasing the Green Economy’ focuses on moving proven solutions and models towards large-scale implementation through the greater integration of technology, finance, policy and partnerships.

DEWA and Dubai Municipality strengthen strategic partnership to enhance the management and operation of Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Municipality have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning the Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls project. The agreement strengthens cooperation between the two entities in managing, operating and developing the project’s facilities, supporting the sustainability of its assets and maximising their benefits for Hatta’s residents and visitors.
