DEWA’s OWNEK platform streamlines project approvals, boosting business efficiency for consultants and contractors

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has facilitated 2,381 preliminary technical discussions prior to project application submissions in 2025 through its OWNEK platform, alongside 36,795 online technical discussions during the submission and approval phase.

DEWA promotes the noble values of the Holy Month of Ramadan through social and humanitarian activities

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organised a series of community and awareness activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan, in collaboration with Dubai Police, the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, the Community Development Authority, the Dubai Club for People of Determination and Shabab Al Ahli Club. These events included field visits to Ramadan iftar tents and senior citizens’ councils across Dubai, with the aim of strengthening community ties and reinforcing the values of solidarity, tolerance, generosity and giving. The initiatives also highlighted DEWA’s innovative digital services, encouraging community members to adopt a more conscious and sustainable lifestyle while ensuring a seamless and convenient experience for all customers anytime and anywhere.
